I’m David Chapman - the face behind GROW-studio. An international career in digital print and graphics technology took me around the world, enabling me to work with some amazing teams across many global businesses and cultures. When I discovered the impact that performance coaching could have, I decided to step back from the coal face and train as a professional business coach, with a particular focus on team and leadership development. I was brought up in Asia and exposed to a range of different cultures from an early age. In my career, I spent time living and working in Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand. I now live in the Cotswolds in the South West of England and work in the virtual world locally, nationally and beyond.
I combine my business experience with questioning and listening skills with a passion for helping the next generations cope with the pressures of modern life, be it in the workplace or at home. It is incredibly rewarding to work with both teams and individuals to help them overcome their challenges and to see them grow and sustain their fuller potential.
I also volunteer with partners like these, helping individuals to get their lives back on track or small businesses to grow in my home county of Gloucestershire.
Know You More is a socially-driven coaching platform and community that provides coaching services to the social enterprise, public and private sectors. Since 2016 I have been proud to work with Know You More as a founder coach on its award-winning Level Up personal leadership programme. This free coaching initiative helps young adults understand their strengths, set goals and successfully navigate the transition from education into the workplace.

As a Mentor with The Growth Hub in Gloucestershire, I worked with local companies and entrepreneurs, helping them deal with the challenges of growing their businesses. I was also an Action Learning facilitator on their highly successful Peer Networks Action Learning programme, which helped many businesses overcome the challenges they faced over the Covid period.
